The gamer is given control over a representative of the primate family - the tamarin monkey. The main character moves through the Northern Wasteland (the game area where all the action of the story campaign takes place), makes new acquaintances, explores places never seen before and fights against crowds of aggressive insects that threaten all peaceful races inhabiting this fictional universe, created specifically for the project with the name "Tamarin". Clashes with enemy units take place using firearms, which the protagonist is armed with - pistols, machine guns, grenades, and so on..

The biomes used to create the game map are quite varied. The user will visit the snow-covered slopes, tops of fjords and mountains, explore a dense forest with all kinds of inhabitants and on the territory of technological factories and laboratories. Also, most of the gameplay will take place underground, at the bases of the enemy entrenched in the dungeons.
