In the game, players take on the role of Kratos, the God of War, on his quest to defeat the gods of Olympus. The game features hack-and-slash gameplay and puzzles, as well as epic boss battles. The story is set before the events of the original God of War game, and explores Kratos' journey to find the sun god Helios, who has gone missing.
